Transforming Small Spaces: A Stunning Upper Floor Renovation That Maximizes Functionality and Style

One of the craziest transformations! We call this small, yet very large and mighty changes. Scroll to see the transformation.

The Before:

The upper floor of this house (when purchased) had 3 bedrooms and two tiny bathrooms. As you walk up the stairs:

On the right, there was a bedroom.
Turn left, and you’d find a hallway with two bedrooms opposite each other.
Walk straight from the top of the stairs, and you’d enter the hall bathroom.

The After:

Here’s what we did:

Walk up the stairs and turn right. You’ll now find a new hallway that ends with open shelving.

Walk down the new hallway, and you’ll find a bedroom with French doors. Past the bedroom doors, welcome to your new laundry closet, complete with a washer and dryer.

Walk up the stairs and turn left to enter your new master suite! It features a larger bathroom, a window, and even a separate toilet room. Did we mention the built in storage bench and custom shelving for linens???

Opposite the master suite, the third bedroom remains in place.
In front of the stairs, we’ve created a fully renovated hall bathroom.

How did we do it?

We borrowed a little space from the existing bedroom on the right to create a hallway.
We re-imagined the master bedroom layout to create a luxurious primary oasis.
